As you may know by now, Varuna is a nomadic country. The way of living here comes with a "back-tobasics" kind of mindset. Our inhabitants live a very peaceful life, in tune with nature and their own bodies. As we live in nomadic groups, consisting of roughly 100 people, we do not need internet. We learn everything from each other and we see each other every day so we do not have the desire to have an online life. As far as electricity is concerned, the temperatures during the day are high enough to keep us warm and during the night we sleep in well isolated tents. The only thing we do need technology for is communication.
Technology is an essential factor in being able to communicate with the other countries. If important things need to be discussed, we are able to do that from Techuna. Also our online presence is important to attract tourists to our country. The people who live in Techuna work on our website and our Instagram. They also keep track of the tourists that are in Varuna to garantuee their safety on their trip.
