Travelgroup number 44 has created something incredible: In only half a year of their stay they build her. 20 meters high and all made of stone – a new statue that shows the imagine of Varuna. The inhibitants build the statue in honor to her as she is the reason why life began in this country. The country where they can live in harmony with each other, the nature and animals. Where Greediness, Jealousy, Vandalism and stress don’t exist, and no one is left out.

History

Almost the entire population lived in Aionia before – a dark country that was ruled by the gods. Varuna was the first person that had the courage to follow their dream of an independent life and leave their old homeland, even though there was no other existing country to which one could escape. She was the one that walked for days with nothing in sight, the one that found the magical tree and by that created life to the desert. 

 

You will find the statue in Khaya - the capital of the country. It shows Varuna in a relaxed pose. She is covered with only a light cloth. On her left hand sits a bird, which she is feeding – a very peaceful image, fitting the country very well. From the other hand, water flows into a basin at the foot of the statue, where travelers can take a rest.

With the new statue, the Varunians want to ensure that visitors and the following population also have an image of Varuna and that it is never forgotten.
