New stay in the north - Winter sports facility built in Varuna

The Varunian Group number 27 decided to explore the north for the first time in our history. Because most of the Varunians prefer the warm weather and the sun, they have stayed away from the cold northern part of the country - until now.

One travel group, group 27, decided to build another stay for their nomadic country up there. To make this part of our country more attractive, they decided on an attraction that every Varunian will love, as they love to be active and live for exploring new things: A winter sports facility. Another first for our country.

The imagined sports on ice are:
Ice hockey – Ice hockey is a team sport in which the two teams try to shoot the puck (the game disc) into the opponent's goal using a hockey stick.

Figure skating - In figure skating, the participants are individually (or as a couple) on the ice and deliver a program on skates, which consists of jumps, pirouettes and steps. The performance is evaluated by a jury.

Curling - In curling, two teams play against each other, trying to push as many of their own stones as possible to a certain point on the field.

They started their walk to the north with this vision and started building the needed things immediately – now, only 1 month later, it is ready. One part of the group have measured, demarcated and cleared the three ice surfaces. Some other have carved the hockey sticks and the needed game discs out of wood. Another part have made special shoes with which you can slide more elegantly over the ice for figure skating. The last group have painted the ice surfaces and the stones in color to mark the wickets and to be able to distinguish the teams later on. Now that the preparations have been made, these new opened doors are ready to be tried out! Group number 27 is looking forward to all the Varunians visiting the North soon!
